Well, you've got some serious stuff goin on here. My condolances to you and your friends, i realize that by now that's probably severely worn out but truly i am. It's a horrible thing when you lose a friend, or a family member. I've been through loss myself, my best friend died in a house fire 2 years ago, somehow i got out, i dont even remember, and i've also been through that run-of-the-mill "oh my god i'm so sorry" "i cant believe it" "what happened" "im so sorry for you" Crap. It's a really tragic thing to have to grasp, but unfortunately, it's also one of those things that we HAVE to grasp whether we want to or not. The most tragic part about it is that your friend will probably be grieving about this after most all have just begun to cope. She'll also probably be grieving the most, being that they were together 4 years. My deepest condolances to her, truly. Important thing is to keep your head above water, and "just keep swimming".

Because really, he's not DEAD. Physically, he's no longer animate, but we live forever in memory. Realistically, living in memory is nowhere near the same as living in the physical world but when things like this happen there's not much choice, and basically, we just have to make the best of it that we can. My friend's name was Alisson.  I never went and saw her in the hospital, because, i was scared. And i hated myself for it then, but now, i'm thrilled i never saw her in the hospital. Because the way i remember her, was as a happy, hyper, creative individual bursting with life, not a burned corpse.

Once you've learned to cope with his "death", which will happen (may take some time, but it will happen) you'll also begin to remember him as the person he was. Focus on the good and great times, shun the bad, bad times shouldnt be in your memory anyway. Chin up, and i wish you all the luck in the world in the time to come.

Hun, Im gonna write a real long honest reply here, So I hope you read it and I hope it helps.

Your a beautiful girl, and you have everything in the world going for you. I talked to you for a long time one time and I thought you were such a kind person and I wished you lived here in Oshawa then we could be friends. You seem like such a likable person and your just a sweet girl. You have a boyfriend that means the world to you and im sure you mean the world to him too. You could go soooo far in this life and I feel like your selling yourself short of the life you deserve to have.

The parties can be fun, the sex and the drinking but really ... the world is a dangerous place and if your not cautious about what you do ONE mistake can affect you for the rest of your life. And something like HIV is a horrible horrible horrible infection that kills many people, as we speak and a lot of the time the people infected didnt sleep around and some didnt even know they were infected until they have full blown aids.

My advice to you would be to get rid of this lifestyle. Dont go to parties if you cannoy be in control of the decisions your making because I would be devastated to see anything bad happen to ya! I would ... because your so sweet and I think we both know your not doing this on purpose but I think maybe you just want someone to acknowledge you. But you can do that other ways, trust me.

You seemed like such a wholesome young lady when I first read your entries and ive read every single one of them. But from the sex ones to this one, I think you may be playing with fire and you should really be careful. If it makes you feel any better, one common symptom of HIV is flu like symptoms a week or two after being infected with it. So watch out for that. But BE CAREFUL from now on and I hope to read some positive entries from now on, :)

Just a friendly warning. That is the trap of addiction. you do things intoxicated that you regret, then when you are sober you want to do more drugs to make the bad feelings that you have about what you did the night before go away. You seem like a good girl so stop doing what your doing. Drugs weeken your will and that is what you need. You need a strong will to get up every morning and say what ever I need to deal with today no matter how painful it might be, wont kill me. Remember "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." once you get through issues in your life sober then it will be easier to deal with the next time around. I wish you all the best. Good luck.

i know exactly how you feel, becuz i feel that exact same way sometimes. What you should ask yourself is are the things youre doing going to help u succeed in the future?  When it all boils down to it thats the only thing that matters anyways so just think about your prioritys a little more and i think youll be fine

Being a ana sufferer myself i would tell you that people do this for many reasons and most of the time its about being thin, its about being in control, and its hard to be in control of things and sometimes weight is the only thing we have that we can control.
As for your friend, i was in her place awhile ago a friend of mine found out and i begged her not to say a word and she hasnt because i asked her not to. And being as i am, i still have a ed, and because she never said anything i will continue to be like this, because i want to be like this.
But if i was a friend i would tell a parent or someone, because people die of this, and i know it will be hard to tell on your friend, but she will love you more in the end for helping her.
